The Casualties are a raw New York City street punk band that rose from the Lower East Side in the early 1990s, carrying the sound and fury of classic UK punk into a new era. The core lineup became known as Jorge Herrera on vocals, Jake Kolatis and Rick Lopez on guitars, Meggers on bass, and rotating drummers, all united by chaos, speed, and total disdain for authority. With spiked hair, leather, and beer-soaked anthems, The Casualties built a reputation for violent energy and uncompromising street survival, turning punk shows into riots and rebellion into a way of life.
