Takahiro Miyahitas reign under Number Nine lasted from 1997 to 2009. In his time at the brand, he was known for his rustic and unique design including jeans with crying heart patches, hoodies with oversized hoods and warm thermal lining, offensive/ironic slogan tees, and extravagant runways with plenty of 80-90’s rock inspiration. This piece debuted in his Autumn-Winter 2002 show entitled “Nowhere Man”. The tee has been famously seen on the cover of one of Izaya Tiji’s first EP’s. The tee is used, with heavy fading but I think it looks nice.
