Takahiro Miyahitas reign under Number Nine lasted from 1997 to 2009. In his time at the brand, he was known for his rustic and unique design including jeans with crying heart patches, hoodies with oversized hoods and warm thermal lining, offensive/ironic slogan tees, and extravagant runways with plenty of 80-90’s rock inspiration. This piece debuted in his Autumn-Winter/Spring Summer 2003 show entitled “Touch Me Im Sick”. The tee was featured alongside plenty of others with slogans on the front, and features some wear but lots of life left.
