The Sex Pistols were the notorious UK punk band formed in London in 1975, made up of Johnny Rotten (John Lydon), Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Sid Vicious. They detonated the punk movement with raw sound, ripped fashion, and a ruthless anti-establishment attitude. Frontman Johnny Rotten became infamous for his snarling voice, confrontational interviews, and defiant intelligence, while bassist Sid Vicious embodied punk’s darkest myth—chaotic, self-destructive, and tragic—turning rebellion into legend.
